2. Lectures
A level Classical Civilisation
Warwick teacher's day - series of lectures relating to the A level course, suitable for students too.
Ancient Rome
Greece vs Rome
Mary Beard, Gifford Lectures - six lectures on our engagement with the Classical past. They are a valuable discussion of why we do Classics and how it relates in complicated ways to our modern lives.
British School at Rome - lectures and short talks on a huge range of topics. Some are quite technical so have a search around. Channel here. I really like Nigel Spivey on statues of Caesar and Mark Bradley on the sense of smell in ancient Rome
The Roman Society - lectures. Again, some are perhaps too technical for sixth form but the Roman society has a broader appeal. Just have a look round! I particularly enjoyed this lecture on the exquisite sculptures from the Villa dei Papiri near Pompeii.
